Review Of ‘Tier 3’ Restrictions Due Today
Written by HFM News on 16th December 2020
A decision on whether Leicestershire’s Tier 3 coronavirus restrictions will change is due to be made today.
The government is reviewing the ‘Very High’ alert level, although it’s widely expected there will be no change, due to high infection levels in some parts of the county and hospital admissions for Covid-19 patients increasing.
The measures have been in place since the end of the national lockdown at the beginning of the month, and although the decision is set to be made today, it maybe tomorrow before it is announced.
Northamptonshire’s Tier 2 level is also being reviewed.
