Market Harborough Decked Out In Flags For Poppy Appeal

More than 100 Union flags are flying above shops and businesses in Market Harborough in support of this year’s Poppy Appeal.

Harborough District Council has put up the flags in the town centre as the Royal British Legion encourages people to give generously to the annual fundraising campaign.

The Royal British Legion has a stall at the Indoor Market on each day it is open over the next fortnight.

Street collections are also taking place, while poppies are on sale at various shops and other venues.

The appeal raised £36,000 in and around Market Harborough last year.
