New Self-Storage Facility Proposed For Market Harborough

Plans have been submitted to build a new self-storage facility in Market Harborough.
The proposed development would be on Rockingham Road, between the Tesco Express garage and Elizabeth Place retirement home.

The site is the last remaining undeveloped parcel of land within the Peaker Park development. The proposed building would cover just under 1,300 square metres and include a car park.
Viking Self Storage, which operates similar facilities elsewhere, has submitted a planning application to Harborough District Council.
A previous plan to build offices on the site was approved but never progressed.
