Machete Seized After Police Raid House In Market Harborough

Police seized a machete during a raid on a house in Market Harborough this morning.
Officers executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at the property on Welland Park Road at 8am.
They were assisted by a specialist search dog.
The weapon along with mobile phones and sim cards were among a number of items recovered, as part of an on-going operation tackling illegal drugs supply in Market Harborough and so-called ‘county lines’ dealing.
Nobody was in the house at the time and no drugs were found.
Police say enquiries are on-going.
