Covid-19 Cases Start To Rise Across Harborough

Cases of Coronavirus in the Harborough District have started to rise again after falling in recent weeks.

Latest seven-day figures from Public Health England show 139 people tested positive in the week to December the 9^th – up from 104 on the previous 7 days.

The rate per 100,000 people now stands at 148.2 – up from 110, but still below the national average of 173.5.

However, ahead of a review of the Tier Three restrictions on Wednesday, three out of the six areas of Leicestershire have rates higher than the average.
