Police Appeal Following Desborough Supermarket Raid

Northamptonshire Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following the attempted burglary last month at a Desborough supermarket.

The incident at the Co-Op Central, in Gladstone Street Desborough, happened on Saturday 22^nd February between 10.40pm and 10.50pm.

A group of men used tools to force open the doors at the front of the building and stole tills and cash boxes – which were empty.

Officers say they left the scene in a dark-coloured car, driving up Gladstone Street in the direction of Harborough Road.
