Local Plan Goes to Public Consultation

Harborough District Council has announced it will now put its long awaited Local Plan out to public consultation.

It sets out the authority’s vision, objectives, spatial strategy and planning policies for the period up to 2031.

The decision to proceed was made at a meeting of Councillors last night – who decided it would be unwise to wait any longer, since new Government rules would have meant the whole Local Plan process would soon need to have been started again!
