Leisure Centre Decision Delayed

A decision on whether there will be a major redevelopment of Harborough Leisure Centre, instead of a brand new facility, has been delayed.
Harborough Council’s Cabinet began considering the move last night, but the meeting was adjourned and will resume next week.
The impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic on the leisure sector and the authority’s finances is among the reasons why Council officers are now recommending the redevelopment, costing over £8m, instead of a new-build new centre.
