Fire Crew Called After Home Floods

Firefighters led an elderly man to a safe area after a house in Stoke Albany was affected by flooding early this morning.

A crew from Desborough Fire Station were called to De Roos Way in the village just before 1.45am.

Firefighters were able to stop the leak, caused by corroded pipes and helped the man, who had limited mobility, to an area of the house that was not affected.

They then cleared water from the property.
