People Urged To Report Covid Concerns
Written by HFM News on 12th February 2021
People are being urged to report concerns about businesses not operating in a Covid-secure manner across the Harborough District.
The District Council is continuing unannounced checks and its officers have now visited over 150 retail premises, including supermarkets, convenience stores, chemists and newsagents.
They have been checking measures to ensure social distancing, mask wearing where necessary and other precautions and in place and operating correctly.
No major concerns have been found during the visits so far, although advice has been given on some occasions.
Checks of premises in other sectors are also continuing and Council leader Phil King told Hfm anyone with concerns should raise them:
Concerns can be reported to the Council by emailing foodandsafety@harborough.gov.uk
