Market Harborough Carnival Cancelled For Second Year

Market Harborough Carnival won’t take place this year.
Organisers say with Covid-19 restrictions looking like only being slightly eased by June, when the annual event takes place, it would not be possible to safely run it.
It will be the second year the carnival has had to be cancelled, although the Carnival Run is set to be held via an on-line format.
A spokesperson for the Carnival Committee said: “We are working on something to give back over the carnival weekend and will keep you posted.
“The Run will take place virtually and more details about this will follow.
“We will take the extra time to prepare and come back in 2022 with something special for you!
“For those traders that are looking for their options, an email will be sent out this week.”
