Argos Store To Open Inside Sainsbury’s In Market Harborough
Written by HFM News on 3rd February 2021
A new Argos store will open later this month inside Sainsbury’s in Market Harborough.
It will replace the shop in St Mary’s Place, which shut last March during the first lockdown and then permanently.
Sainsbury’s, who own Argos, say staff who worked at the standalone store will move to the new outlet, which will open on February 19th, initially offering a click and collect service only, due to Covid-19 restrictions.
A spokesperson for Sainsbury’s told Hfm: “By bringing together the much-loved brands of Sainsbury’s and Argos under the one roof, Market Harborough customers will be able to enjoy greater convenience as the new Argos will enable them to purchase thousands of technology, home and toy products whilst picking up their groceries.
“The Argos store will feature an Argos Pay@Browse area – when permitted, customers will be able to use the tablets to purchase what they want quickly and conveniently, as well as browse for products with Argos colleagues on hand to help.
“All colleagues who used to work from the Market Harborough Argos standalone store will work from the Argos store inside Sainsbury’s Market Harborough when it opens to customers later this month.”
