Hospital Being ‘Actively Considered’ As Vaccination Hub

The government’s Covid 19 Vaccine Deployment Minister says Feilding Palmer Hospital in Lutterworth is being ‘actively considered’ as a vaccination hub.
Nadhim Zahawi was questioned in the House of Commons this afternoon by South Leicestershire MP Alberto Costa, who wants to see the community hospital re-opened so people living in and around the town can receive jabs there.
They currently have to travel over ten miles to the nearest GP vaccination centres.
Feilding Palmer Hospital was temporarily closed in May, as the historic building could not be safety adapted to be Covid-19 secure.
