‘Amazing’ Response To Schools’ Laptop Appeal

There has been a fantastic response to an appeal launched by Harborough primary schools for laptop computers.

Over 50 have been donated to the Learn Academies Trust in less than a week.

All will be given to youngsters who do not have easy access to a device at home, enabling them to take part in remote learning, as schools remain closed to the majority of pupils.

Trust Leader Stef Edwards told Hfm they are extremely grateful for the community’s support:

There are some pupils still in need of a device, so anyone with a laptop they no longer need is urged to email laptops@learnat.uk

The Trust, of which 11 schools in and around Market Harborough are part of, is also praising pupils, staff and parents for how they have responded to remote learning.
