Food Bank Appeal

Market Harborough’s Foodbank is appealing for continued help as demand
is set to increase during the school summer holidays.
The Jubilee Foodbank says for parents struggling to make ends meet the
six week break is a worrying time.
Children from low income families get free meals during term-time but
receive no support during the holidays.
Last summer requests for help increased significantly from families with
children under 16 and volunteers are expecting the same this year.
Collection points for donated food are at Sainsburys, Co-op, Waitrose, B
& M, Halifax Building Society, Nationwide Building Society and the
Congregational Church Office on Bowden Lane.
