Sport Award Nominations Invited

Nominations are now open for this year’s ‘Active Harborough District
Sports Awards’.
The gongs recognise great sporting achievements and physical activity
projects in our area – from athletes competing at a high level in their
sport, to the tireless volunteers who make sure that the pitch is ready
or the administration is done.
For 2019 you’re invited to nominate individuals or teams in one of eight
different categories via the harboroughsport.org.uk website.
These include Sports Person of the Year, Team of the Year, the Community
Award and Twilight Achiever of the Year – for those over 65.
The awards ceremony is set to take place on Wednesday the 13th of
November.
