Woman Charged With Stealing Items Worth £600 From Supermarket

A woman has been charged with stealing items worth around £600 from Waitrose in Market Harborough.
She was arrested after Police were called to the supermarket in Springfield Street just before 2.30pm on Saturday, when security staff detained a person outside.
Maria Ghimpu, 49, of Raymond Close, Walsall, is accused of theft and will appear at Leicester Magistrates Court next month.
