A woman was arrested and a large amount of suspected Class A drugs and cash seized by Police in Market Harborough last night.

Officers executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a property in Fount Court off Haddonian Road.

The 30-year-old was questioned on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply and has been released under investigation.

Another raid was carried out at a property in St Mary’s Road, which resulted in the seizure of a small amount of suspected Class A drugs and a woman, aged 40, being handed a Community Resolution Order.

Police, who were assisted by a specialist drugs dog, say the action was part of on-going work to tackle the local illegal drug supply and County Lines dealing.
