Warning After ‘Laughing Gas’ Canisters Found

A new warning is being issued about the dangers of inhaling so called ‘laughing gas’ after around 100 empty nitrous oxide canisters were found dumped on the outskirts of Market Harborough.

Remnants of balloons used by people to breathe in the gas, and devices to open and control the gas were also discovered in a layby on Gallow Field Road near Gartree.

The substance was linked to five deaths in the UK last year.
