One of the victims of a vandalism spree in Market Harborough is happy with how Police dealt with those responsible.
A woman, aged 20 and a boy, aged 16, have paid compensation to people who had Christmas decorations, and other items damaged outside their homes, and sent letters of apology.
Officers used a ‘Community Resolution’ to deal with them, after they fully admitted the damage and showed remorse.
Ashley Raine has been paid £43 after wires to Christmas lights outside her house in Charles Street were cut by the vandals, rendering them useless:
Ashley’s house was one of several targeted in streets off Coventry Road in the early hours of December 6th.
