Stranger Danger Warning After Schoolgirls Followed By Man In Van

A stranger danger alert has been issued two schoolgirls were followed by a man in a van in Market Harborough.

He stopped beside one of them and stared at her near Longleat Close, on the Ashley Way estate, just after 8am yesterday and then drove beside the girl and a friend, who she met up with, on Sandringham Way.

They saw the white van on two further occasions as they got closer to Welland Park Academy, on Welland Park Road, where the Year 8 pupils raised the alarm.

The girls were left shaken-up by the incident, which has been reported to Police.

The only description of the man is that he was white and had dark hair,.

Last month a girl was followed by a man on foot as she was walking to the school.
