Road Closure Signs ‘Wrong’

Signs saying Springfield Street in Market Harborough is to close for a week were put up in error.

There had been fears of traffic chaos, as they stated the closure would come into force on Sunday.

Leicestershire Highways say they should have said there will be temporary traffic lights on the road on the next two Sundays, for works by Cadant Gas.

They have instructed the utility firm to alter the signs after Hfm made contact about them.
