Police say they won’t hesitate to issue fines to people found breaching Covid-19 restrictions in and around Market Harborough.
26 of the £200 fixed penalty notices have been handed out in Leicestershire since the current lockdown came into force, including one issued in the Harborough District over the weekend.
Since the start of the pandemic, 929 fines have been issued by the Leicestershire force.
