Police Implement Dispersal Order In Market Harborough

Police have implemented a Dispersal Order in and around Market Harborough town centre, following disorder and anti-social behaviour.

It gives officers the power to order people to leave the area if they suspect they are causing or likely to cause crime, nuisance or anti-social behaviour to members of the public.
They face arrest if they return.
Patrols had been stepped up in the town centre for the first evening of pubs being allowed to re-open.
The Order is in force until 7am tomorrow.
