New £6.9m Business Centre Set To Open

A new Market Harborough office development which was given the working title ‘Grow On Space’ has now been officially named after construction work was completed.
The complex of new offices at the Compass Point Business Park off Northampton Road, which has cost £6.9m, is to be known as the ‘Harborough Grow On Centre’.

Harborough District Council, which was behind the scheme, says the name has been chosen to reflect the growth of business within the Harborough District.
It says construction was prompted by a strong requirement for small to medium sized companies looking for commercial space to expand, but stay within the town.
Back in 2011 the Council opened ‘Harborough Innovation Centre’ to provide office space for start-up and new businesses.
Now ‘Harborough Grow On Centre’ is expected to create 230 jobs and bring £20m into the local economy.
