Most dangerous road in Leicestershire

The most dangerous road in Leicestershire is through the Harborough District according to new research – and it’s even worse than the M1 Motorway!

The unwanted accolade for the A6 emerged from analysis of Department of Transport data detailing nearly 130,000 traffic accidents in Britain during the past year.

It’s one of the key routes around Market Harborough – from Great Glen in the north through to the A14 in Northamptonshire.

Along it’s length in Leicestershire it’s been revealed there were 80 incidents involving 158 vehicles on the A6 over the past twelve months – resulting in 113 injuries and two fatalities.
