Use our loos proposal

Written by on 25th October 2018

A new scheme to make sure both locals and visitors aren’t caught short when visiting Market Harborough is being suggested by local Liberal Democrats.

It’s proposed that the town’s existing public toilets could be supplemented by conveniences in designated pubs, attractions and shops – where people WON’T have to spend a penny to use them!

Traders are said to have reacted positively to the plans – as a way of welcoming more people into their premises.

Councillors Phil Knowles and Sarah Hill are set to introduce the “use our loos” idea at the next full District Council meeting on the 12th of November.
