Van Break-Ins

Local tradespeople are again being urged to remove expensive tools from their vans at night – following another spate of break-ins during the past two weeks.

Other precautions when leaving vans unattended include making sure your vehicle is alarmed, and parked right up against another van, or the wall of a property, to make access to the doors difficult for criminals.

Leicestershire Police say anyone with a van is vulnerable – and criminals have struck in outlying villages as well as in Market Harborough itself.
