Written by on 9th February 2021

A man has been jailed for five and half years for stabbing another man in Desborough.

Matthew Lee attacked him on Harrington Road on November 6th last year.

The victim, aged in his 40s, used his arm to block an attempt to stab him in the stomach and needed hospital treatment for the injuries he suffered.

Northampton Crown Court heard the incident was the culmination of a two and half year feud between the two men.

Lee, 27, of Nunnery Avenue, Rothwell, pleaded guilty to GBH with intent.

He was told he would spend half of his five-and-a-half year sentence in custody with the remainder on licence.
