Man Appears In Court After Husbands Bosworth Arsons

A man has appeared in Court accused of starting three fires in Husbands Bosworth late last Wednesday and early on Thursday.

Daniel Milburn, 33, of no fixed address, but previously from Gloucestershire, is charged with two counts of arson with intent to endanger life and one count of arson recklessly endangering life.

It follows deliberately started fires outside flats in Mowsley Court, Brooke House Care Home in Bell Lane and setting fire to a van in Church Street.

Milburn appeared before Leicester Magistrates and was remanded into custody to appear at Leicester Crown Court next month,

Meanwhile, fire crews were in the village yesterday offering reassurance and fire safety advice following last week’s incidents.
