Harborough’s Tribute Song To Sir Captain Tom Moore

A song celebrating the achievements of Sir Captain Tom Moore, featuring four Harborough teenagers, has been released to raise money for the charity foundation in his name.

‘Captain Tom’ was written last year by Market Harborough-based Edgy Productions, who produce musicals for schools, to feature in one all about the extraordinary events of the last 12 months.

It features singers Ria Cousins and Zach Ball, both students at Welland Park Academy, Amelia Oxspring, who attends Robert Smyth Academy and Eliza Niblett from Kibworth.

Following the fundraising veteran’s death earlier this month, aged 100, it is now available for download, as a tribute to him.

All money raised will go to the Captain Tom Foundation, which supports causes close to Captain Tom and his families hearts, including combating loneliness, championing education and equality support and the NHS.
