Former Kibworth Post Office Worker Faces Jail

A former worker at Kibworth Post Office is facing jail after defrauding the business out of £29,500
Dawn Powell committed the crime by reversing financial transactions, while working as a Counter Clerk at the High Street branch, between February 2016 and September last year.
30-year-old Powell, of Cromwell Close, Walcote, has pleaded guilty to defrauding the Post Office.
She’s been released on bail ahead of sentencing, with the Judge at Leicester Crown Court warning the crime warrants imprisonment.
