Man Jailed For Burgling Market Harborough Restaurant

Instant justice has been served after a burglar who targeted Wildwood Restaurant in Market Harborough was today jailed for 18 weeks.

Daniel Carney admitted breaking into the High Street premises in the early hours of Sunday, when he appeared before Leicester Magistrates Court earlier.

The 34 year old of Coventry Road, Market Harborough stole alcohol and cash left as staff tips.

He was also ordered to pay a Victim Surcharge of £115.

He was arrested by Police along with two other men who have been released under investigation – after the business was burgled three nights running.
