Fleckney Teen Helps Save Lives After Tragic Death

A teenager from Fleckney who died after being struck by a van has helped save five lives through organ donation.
Sixteen-year-old Tyler Barrett died from injuries sustained in the collision in Leicester in April and had been a strong supporter of organ donation.

In his memory, his cousin Amy Rigg and friend Steve Wells took part in Saturday’s Market Harborough Carnival Run to raise money for the air ambulance that attended the scene, and have so far raised more than £1,000 in sponsorship.
Amy, a dance teacher at Dance Factory63 in Market Harborough and Steve, a safeguarding officer at Borough Alliance Football Club, have been taking part in the Harborough Carnival Run for several years in fancy dress, raising money for different charities.
