Escaped Cow Brings Traffic to a Standstill

Motorists in Desborough faced unexpected delays at lunchtime after an escaped cow brought traffic to a standstill.

Police were called just after midday after the animal was spotted wandering through roads on the Grange estate, before making its way onto the busy Harborough Road.

The cow was eventually rounded up by a local farmer and safely escorted back to its field.
