Red Arrows Surprise Market Harborough Carnival Crowds

Market Harborough was treated to an impromptu display by the Red Arrows on Saturday.
The iconic RAF display team had been due to fly over the town in the afternoon en-route back from a planned appearance at Silverstone, Northamptonshire, but ended up performing four loops over the town, much to the delight of crowds attending the Market Harborough Carnival.

Their planned display at Silverstone had been cancelled due to bad weather.
Carnival committee chairman Paul Milligan said he was delighted with the surprise flypast by the distinctive red BAE Hawk T1 jets:
