Burglars Steal Family’s Beloved Pet Dog

Burglars have stolen a family’s much loved pet dog from a Northamptonshire village.

Flynn, an eight-year-old Springer Spaniel, was taken from Elkington, near Welford, earlier this month, and an appeal has today been made for information to get the dog back.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: “If you are the offender and you are reading this, do the right thing and give Flynn back.

“Dogs are not ‘property’ of their owners, they are family members and you have caused enormous distress to Flynn’s family who don’t know where he is or if he is okay.”

Flynn was stolen from an address in Yelvertoft Road between 11pm on Monday (November 16) and 6am the following day.

Some tools were also taken.

Anyone who thinks they have information which could help the investigation, or help reunite Flynn with his family, can call Northamptonshire Police on 101 using incident number 20000607712.
