Appeal After Man Spits In Woman’s Face

Police are appealing for information after man spat in the face of a woman at the Little Bowden Recreation Ground.

The assault happened during an argument following an incident involving the victim’s dog at around 9.30am on Tuesday morning.

Officers say the man – who had two small Jack Russell-type dogs with him – turned aggressive towards her before the assault took place.

The victim – in her 40s – wasn’t injured but has been left badly shaken by the ordeal.

The man is described as white, aged in his late fifties or early sixties, tall and slim.
