Pedestrian Hit By Car In Market Harborough

A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after being hit by a car in Market Harborough last night.

Emergency Services were called to Doddridge Road just before 6pm, following the collision close to the King’s Head Terrace junction.

The 42-year-old was treated at the scene before being taken to the Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry with head, leg and hip injuries.

Police say a number of witnesses were spoken to at the scene.

The road was closed for over three hours while a collision investigation was carried out.
