Man Released On Bail After Drugs Raid In Market Harborough

A man arrested after a police raid in Market Harborough yesterday has been released on bail.
The 27-year-old was held on suspicion of being involved in the production of a class A drug, after officers executed a warrant at a flat in Edwin Court on Kettering Road.
Police remain at the property today to recover substances found inside, after a specialist team from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service was called-in to access them.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told HFM: “Enquiries remain ongoing into the nature of the substances found at the address and it is not deemed that there is any danger to the public.
“The substances are being safely recovered from the address.”
The man questioned has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
