Villagers Hit By Valentine’s Day Power Cut

A Valentine’s Day power cut meant villagers in the Langtons and Foxton had no choice but to get the candles out for a romantic ambience last night.
Over 160 homes were affected by the blackout from around 6.30pm.
Western Power Distribution say supplies were restored to the majority within an hour, although 40 properties in the West Langton area had to wait until nearly 11pm.
A fault with an overhead power line, which need to be repaired, caused the outage,
The company has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
