Man Arrested After Police Pursuit

A man was arrested on suspicion of theft after a Police pursuit ended in a Harborough village yesterday.
The 18-year-old from Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire was detained in Mere Lane, Bitteswell, after officers on the ground were assisted by a helicopter crew from the National Police Air Service.
He is being questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to commit theft from motor vehicles, in connection with an investigation into thefts of catalytic converters in Hertfordshire.
