Vandals Wreck Memorial To Market Harborough Teenager

Written by on 12th February 2021

Vandals have wrecked a road-side memorial to a Market Harborough teenager killed in a car crash.

A sign with Ryan Tealby’s name on was thrown in a ditch, along with flowers and a wreath, and a plaque snapped off a wooden post.

The memorial has stood at the side of Langton Road, just outside Foxton, since November 2019, at the spot where Ryan, who was 17, died.

His family, who visit the site weekly to keep it clean and tidy, have been left devastated after discovering the damage yesterday.

They say the memorial was in-tact on Tuesday, so must have been damaged sometime yesterday.

It has now been restored.
