Drugs Raid ‘Thanks To Information From The Public’
Written by HFM News on 2nd February 2021
Police want people to continue passing on information about illegal drugs misuse, after a raid in Market Harborough yesterday.
Officers say concerns from members of the community led to the warrant being executed at a property in Lathkill Street.
A large quantity of cannabis was found along with with a small amount of suspected cocaine.
A man, aged 39, who was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply, was questioned and released under investigation.
It was the seventh drugs raid in the past six months in Market Harborough, as part of an investigation into illegal drugs supply and so-calling ‘county lines’ dealing.
Sergeant Pete Jelbert told Hfm the Police’s fight against illegal drugs continues, despite the lockdown
