Hospitals Offer 1,000 Vaccination Appointments A Day

People across Harborough aged 70 and over, or deemed clinically extremely vulnerable, can now book a Covid 19 vaccine, if they have not yet had an invitation for their first jab.

Leicester’s Hospitals are offering 1,000 appointments a day, in addition to clinics taking place at GP surgeries.

The jabs are being administered at Leicester Royal Infirmary, Glenfield Hospital, Leicester General Hospital and the Peepul Centre in Leicester, but will also be available soon at Feilding Palmer Hospital in Lutterworth and Loughborough Hospital.

Up to now people have been told to wait until they are invited for the jab, but the local NHS says it is keen to ensure all eligible people who have not yet had a vaccine invitation, have a chance to book this week.

Bookings need to be made on-line – more details HERE
