Guidance Issued On Travel Between Leics & Northants
Written by HFM News on 27th November 2020
The government has provided guidance about travelling between different tier levels, when they come into force next Wednesday.
Leicestershire will face the toughest Tier 3 restrictions, but bordering Northamptonshire will be placed in Tier 2.
Market Harborough and many parts of the Hfm Region sit either side of the border.
The government says people should avoid travel between the two counties, unless for ‘essential journeys’.
That is for work, education, youth services, to receive medical treatment, or because of caring responsibilities.
The guidance also advises against travelling in and out of higher tier levels for overnight stays, other than where necessary.
