Recycling simplified in the Harborough District

Recycling in the Harborough District has been made simpler – after
local authorities joined forces to offer a more “consistent” service for
Leicestershire residents.

Harborough Council says the majority of householders are now able to
recycle exactly the same materials in their recycling wheelie bins,
wherever they live in the county, thanks to a single, centralised
materials recycling facility.

Six district councils have worked together on producing one simple list
of what can and cannot be put into our recycling bins.

It’s hoped this‘ll not only offer better consistency for residents
countywide, but will also encourage more of us to recycle more things,
more frequently.
