Another attempted van theft in Market Harborough

A Market Harborough gardener is warning other traders to protect their
vehicles from thieves after his van was targeted on Fairfield Road in
the early hours of the morning.

The criminals had attempted to gain access by trying to prize open a
stainless steel side loading door – causing significant damage.

Harborough Police are also reporting two other vans being broken into
this week on Highfield Street – and are reminding owners not to leave
valuables such as laptops, tablets and work tools in vehicles overnight.

Daniel Ellwood, of D.E Gardening Services says – although nothing was
stolen from his van – a crime like this affects his livelihood whilst
the vehicle is off the road for repairs.
