Jeans for Genes Day

A Market Harborough mum is urging local schools, workplaces and
organisations to get involved with this years’ Jeans for Genes Day –
which is taking place between the 16th and 20th of September.

It’s the annual fundraising campaign for Genetic Disorders UK – a
national charity that supports individuals and families affected by a
genetic condition.

Ashley Hobbs’ four year old son Ollie (pictured) has a rare genetic
disorder called Bardet Biedl Syndrome – which causes problems including
learning difficulties, putting on weight and gradual sight loss.

She says supporting Jeans for Genes Day by wearing your denims in return
for a donation is an easy way to make a difference.
