Woman remanded after burglary and Harborough theft

A woman has been remanded in custody after admitting a series of offences, including a shop theft in Market Harborough.

Lisa McDonagh, 34, of no fixed address, admitted stealing £73.25 worth of items from the Co-op in Market Harborough on 10 March.

She also pleaded guilty to shop thefts from Boots and Tidal Vape in Leicester, the burglary of The Cue Room in Leicester, possessing crack cocaine and failing to surrender to court bail.

During the hearing at Leicester Magistrates’ Court, McDonagh also admitted burglary, after clothes worth around £10,000 were stolen from clothing store Evessi in Leicester.

Magistrates remanded her in custody and adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report.

She is due to be sentenced at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
